Martha Butwin

Martha Butwin has worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce since February 1991, and has been an International Trade Specialist in the Denver U.S. Export Assistance Center since 1999.  Prior to her arrival in Denver, Ms. Butwin was the Manager of the Wheeling, West Virginia Export Assistance Center, served as an International Trade Specialist for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Detroit, and was an Antidumping Compliance Analyst at USDOC headquarters in Washington, DC.  Martha’s work experience includes serving as the U.S. Commercial Service Europe Team Leader and the organization’s inaugural Energy Team Leader, as well as working on projects in Argentina, Austria, Bulgaria, Chile, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain.  Locally, Ms. Butwin’s responsibilities include assisting export endeavors of companies in Colorado and Wyoming, where she works primarily with energy, mining and general equipment manufacturers, service providers and organizations.

Martha earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, and a Master of International Management degree at the University of Denver.
