Jerome Davis

Jerome Davis serves as Regional Vice President, Colorado for Public Service Company of Colorado, an Xcel Energy Company. In this role, Davis has executive leadership responsibility for local government affairs in 165 communities located throughout the state.

He oversees the managed accounts of the company’s largest business customers, which together comprise more than $1 billion in annual revenue. Davis is also responsible for providing strategic leadership for the management of community relations and economic development for the Colorado jurisdiction.

Under his guidance, Xcel Energy has built a solid and well-earned reputation for community involvement. The company’s charitable giving foundation, which is supported by shareholder investments, has made substantial investments in focus area grants to support and promote workforce development, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, environmental stewardship and access to the arts.

Davis also has oversight of the company’s United Way Campaign, employee volunteer programs, and corporate sponsorships that support organizations and programs in the communities we serve.

After starting with Public Service Company of Colorado in 1984, Davis filled diverse roles within the company. His most recent position was that of director, Community Relations. Prior to that, he was area manager for the City and County of Denver and the City of Aurora, and has broad experience with the utility, working in substation engineering, corporate accounting, sales and marketing, and supplier diversity.

Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information systems and a MBA from Regis University.  He is also a Walter Kaitz Foundation Fellow.

He has long been active in the community and is currently a board member of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, as well as Visit Denver, Colorado Health Foundation, Aurora Economic Development Council and the Denver Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy. He is a graduate of the Leadership Programs for both the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and Aurora Chamber of Commerce.

Davis is a Colorado native, and resides in Aurora with his wife Jackie, and two children, Jasmine and Jordan.
