Donna Stalling

Ms. Stallings has many years of professional experience in the information technology field as a Consultant, Project Manager, and Program Director. She was employed with Ford Motor Company for over 20 years in various aspects of information and office technology and has worked with SYNC Technologies since its formation in 1988. In addition to acting as the “Face” of the Company and its Chief salesperson, Ms. Stallings has served as the Program Director of several large contracts with the City of Detroit. She seamlessly juggles managing project staff, negotiating contracts and contract issues with ease. She is as comfortable in a meeting with a chief officer for a major corporation negotiating a multi-million-dollar contract as she is on a work site with her sleeves rolled up problem solving.

She was elevated to President in 2000 and since then has led this minority, women-owned information technology consulting firm with distinction. SYNC has grown to one of the premier IT Firms in the city of Detroit with contracts in multiple departments such as the City of Detroit, Detroit Public School System, and various health systems throughout Michigan. SYNC revenues continue to grow each year. SYNC celebrates over 20 years in business of which Donna Stallings has been at the helm for nearly 10 years.

President Stallings is also mentoring and working with the next generation of Stallings to prepare them to take the reins of leadership for the company, as well as helping them develop any independent entrepreneurial ventures. Donna and her partners also believe in supporting other African American and Minority firms and have working relationships with several small businesses in the community.

In addition to leading this dynamic information technology company, Donna is first and foremost an involved mother to her daughter, Kimberly. Raising a teenage daughter and running a multi-million dollar IT Company would be more than enough for the average person, but Donna Stallings is not average by any means. Ms. Stallings is also an ordained Pastor/Evangelist and proudly proclaims her love for the Lord Jesus Christ. She is a sought after speaker and has ministered to thousands worldwide in areas as far away as Peru, South Africa, and most recently Italy, London and as near as Lynchburg, Virginia. She loves to preach the Word of God, revealing the divine purpose for our lives.

Donna has an infectious compassion for others and is always attempting to positively impact as many lives as she can touch. She led the effort for her company to donate computers and conduct training in schools for the people of Soweto, South Africa and establish their first computer lab. Ms. Stallings has also served as the Dean of Camp “IALAC” (I AM LOVABLE AND CAPABLE) for almost 12 years and has sponsored an effort to raise funds for youth through a “Walk for Kids Walk-a-thon” for three consecutive years. SYNC Technologies has supported this program since before the founding of the company, over 30 years. Donna’s commitment to the community stretches even further, she sits on the Board of Directors for several organizations making an impact in the City of Detroit; Cornerstone Community Center, Eagle International Bible Training College, People’s IALAC Community Center, and the Water Access Volunteer Effort (WAVE). WAVE is a non-profit organization that helps families in arrears pay their water and sewerage bills. Ms. Stallings’ efforts with WAVE were so appreciated that an award was named in her honor. Donna P. Stallings has impacted and influenced the Information Technology arena in Detroit and the Region as President of SYNC Technologies, one of the cutting-edge IT companies in the area. More importantly, she has impacted and influenced the lives of countless men, women, and children across this country and world through her ministry and community service.
